Peter combines his years of counseling with over 8 years of business development & marketing experience in online education, as a consultant who works intimately with small businesses & non-profits to develop their people, their goals and long-term brand strategies.
Peter’s ability to connect with people to create simple, meaningful & measurable plans has allowed him to work with clients such as Butterball Farms, Flight-1 & Cascade Engineering. By working to clarify values and goals at the individual and team level, the organization is able to refine their brand.
As an adjunct professor at Stetson’s Family Enterprise Center, Peter is at the forefront of Next Generation Leadership Development; having helped hundreds of college aged students establish credibility and marketability with their family, with their family business or with non-family employers. The goal of the program is to help students step back, evaluate the family system, the business and their skills so that they can actively make choices regarding their career and their family responsibilities.
Peter understands the challenges and rewards of running a family business. Having founded an online education company in 2000 with his father, Peter quickly established national partnerships with professional associations, colleges and high-profile media figures for the creation, marketing and delivery of professional continuing education programs. Peter ran the business for over 7 years, delivering thousands of professional online education programs to counselors, psychologists, nurses and physical therapists.
At the foundation of Peter’s career is his work as a counselor and human services program specialist. With a master’s degree in mental health and a systems approach to working with individuals and groups, Peter has a depth of experience that spans a wide range behaviors and personalities. This allows him to find solutions that deal with the core challenges people face, which in turn provides solutions for the organization.
